GROUT SEALING &
GROUT COLOR SEALING
Did you know that both sanded and unsanded
grout are very porous? They absorb liquid easily.
Liquids with color in them leave permanent stains
behind on unsealed grout when the liquid
evaporates. Having your grout clear sealed
properly in the beginning saves your time and
money. You can restore stained grout back to
looking clean again by having it color sealed, but
color seal is roughly double the cost of clear seal.

NATURAL STONE:
SEAL, COAT OR WAX?
Stone is also porous, but each type has a different
level of porousity and based on that level will
determine the type of sealer they need. Some just
need extra sealer, but others can need a coating or a
wax. Left unprotected, stone can be etched with
acidic liquids. Etching is physical not just a visual
bother and can only be polished back to its original
state. Damage can occur to stone when the wrong
type or amount of sealer has been applied to it
when actually leaves it unprotected.
